Working Principle
The Distribution Transformer operates on the principle of electromagnetic induction. It consists of primary and secondary windings mounted on a laminated silicon steel core. When alternating current flows through the primary winding, it creates a varying magnetic field in the core, which induces a voltage in the secondary winding. The voltage transformation ratio is determined by the turns ratio between the primary and secondary windings.
